Le creuset warehouse sale12/30/2023 ![]() ![]() After waiting for years, I was rewarded with an IG post that Le Creuset Factory to Table was coming to Dallas! Just a few hours from me, and I was definitely buying tickets. I’m thankful for the job because it really did give me lifelong friends, but I didn’t make any money as I put my whole paycheck back into the store to invest in the best possible cookware at a discount.įor a long time I’ve seen the Le Creuset Factory to Table sale come to cities like Atlanta, Charleston, somewhere out in California and just waited patiently for it to come within driving distance of Austin. I then proceeded to get a job at Sur La Table in an attempt to fill my free time and make friends, and the obsession with cookware only continued. I’ve always loved cooking and entertaining, but with just me, a dutch oven, my kitchen aid mixer, and no friends, I got to work. I think that’s where I really started to refine my cooking. I couldn’t believe it, and asked them to ship it to my parent’s house because I most certainly wasn’t going to have a super nice dutch oven in my crappy college apartment where squirrels were living in the walls.Ī few months later I learned I was moving to Texas for a job, and I packed up the oven – never having used it – and made my way to Texas. I had submitted a recipe for a quesadilla, and a few days later I received an email that I had won. In college, I entered a food blog contest where you had to submit a recipe that incorporated beans and you could be entered to win a Le Creuset dutch oven and a few free cans of Bush’s baked beans. The room isn't set up with aisles like a grocery store, it's more like clusters of tables, and it can be daunting. If you don’t want to read the back story of my cookware obsession or about the road trip to Dallas, scroll down to The Factory to Table Event. Shop the perimeter: Workers advised us to start with the perimeter of the room before scoping out the center tables. Ask one of the many helpful workers if you can't find the right aisle. What's available differs each day, but it is the best deal in the room. Be sure to have your ticket ready as you approach the entrance.Ĭheck for daily specials: The center aisles have special sales with limited quantities. Directions to the hall were not marked well inside the convention center during Thursday's VIP sale. ![]() Depending on where you park, it could be a good hike (if there's room in the 3rd Avenue ramp, that's the easiest). But there are some tips worth noting both for this year and for (hopefully) next time.įind your way: The sale is in Hall E, which is at the far end of the Minneapolis Convention Center. If you were able to get tickets to this weekend's sold-out affair, the first time the high-end cookware maker brought its famous factory-to-table sale to the Twin Cities, you won't be disappointed. The aisles were wide and the markdowns plentiful, and people came to shop, giggling at the length of their receipts. A bartender was ready to serve wine and mixed drinks, the DJ played upbeat music, including Abba's "Gimme, Gimme, Gimme," which seemed appropriate.
